If the eyes are the windows to the soul, perhaps the voice is the direct reflection of the soul itself. Or at least it would seem with Paula White.
We could go into Paula's musical history and give you a resume of sorts, but everything you need to know about Paula is in the songs you're about to hear.
You may recall, in the Jewish tradition, "to know" requires more than mental ascension. It requires "doing". Paula has coursed the music education route. She has sung before audiences of thousands. She has been a soloist on national Christian TV. So... that's all fine, but what is it really worth?
God looks on the heart, not the resume. When God glances Paula's way, and it's my guess He does rather often, He must get a big grin on His face, for in this lovely, petite, blonde woman, is a heart in which there is no guile. I should know I'm her husband.
The CD, "A Healing Touch" is a true reflection of a heart that may be about as pure as they come in a fallen world, and Paula's heart is spread throughout this album. We were literally decades in writing, arranging, recording and living this project.
Its thoughts and melodies came out of our concerns for Gods people and the constant reminder from our Lord, that though celebrative worship is wonderful, to "celebrate" habitually, without addressing the needs of the hurting is a misrepresentation of Gods intent. For as the Shepard of His fold, Jesus, leaves the hundred and goes after the one.
As you may readily discern, we are musicians by profession, this project was not done for money. The "market" would likely never indicate high sales for a "product" of this sort. But, God is not overly concerned with the market. He is concerned with the hearts of His people - Your Heart. So it is to you, the apple of His eye, that we dedicate this work. We hope you are well - but if you or a loved one are not, it is our prayer, that in listening to this very special music, God in deed brings you or that one who is so special to you, A Healing Touch.
