the paul bailey ensemble was created in June 2002 for the performance of new music through a unique and exciting combination of acoustic percussion instruments, electric fretted instruments, wind instruments and electronic keyboard that marry rock idioms with traditional chamber music.

the eclectic nine-member paul bailey ensemble (2 violins, cello, electric guitar, electric bass, synthesizer, vibraphone, clarinet/bass clarinet and trombone) perform with a variety of local professional organizations, ranging from the Los Angeles Master Chorale and the Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra to the Pacific Symphony and the Los Angeles Opera.
