Born in Adelaide,Australia,raised in Melbourne,moved with family to Sydney,moved back to Melbourne.

Began music career as a drummer in Jazz/Rock bands but a publishing offer led to a trip to London and a switch to acoustic guitar.Spent 3 years busking and performing on the acoustic cicuits in U.K., Europe and U.S.A.

Continued this life in Australia and released first album "A Strayer from Australia" about that first trip O/S.

Since 1982 has had dual careers as a muso and Stand up Comedian and has worked in Australia and Internationally in both guises.
