Lou Stant has been a songwriter since 1972, and a professional musician/recording artist in Indiana since 1982. Having alternated since the early â80s between ensemble and solo work, he has been performing various styles of acoustic music since moving to Southern Indiana in 1996, and is currently a part of a blues/jazz trio, âthe Mizfitsâ, which performs regularly in Brown and surrounding counties, and periodically in Indianapolis. The trio released a self-titled CD, "The Mizfits" in 2006. In addition, since 2000 Lou has released three CDs of his original solo work, including "Out of the Blue" (2000), "Enough About Me" (2004), and a retrospective CD of his earliest recordings from 1984-1990, "Cutting Teeth" (2005).
