"Iâd already listened to this album a couple of times before I read the accompanying letter and learned that it was the work of a duo rather than a full-band â fancy! It seems, in this instance, having fewer cooks around definitely improves the flavour of the broth.

The sparse treatment definitely suits âOutsideâ and âMy Timeâ, and the implementation of human beat-box on these tracks and several others is inspired. The percussive climax of âAll Rightâ would have made the Beta Band proud, while âDonât You Knowâ makes it more than obvious that the pair have been listening to Gorillaz just a little bit. Throw in some chiming guitar, a solid grasp of pop and voila! Indie/goth/hip-hop anyone?

The bottom line is this is a CD that Iâm still coming back to again and again."
