Sara Genn is an artist based in New York City. "Bedmusic" is words and music written and performed by Sara on her Rhodes piano. Sara is accompanied by Keith Witty on double bass and Christopher Eddleton on drums. It is Sara's second record in two years.
Sara's been featured in The London Papers and in FLARE, has scored for independent film and her music has been used by Honda, RW&Co and on Lipstick Jungle. She tours annually in Europe, including the Edinburgh Festival and has been featured on independent radio in NY, the UK and Switzerland, webcasted for the critically acclaimed Bedford in London and been included on compilations "Dean's List" (NY) and "Electroacoustic Club" (London). Sara is currently recording with French Hip Hop Producer Wax Tailor.
Sara is also a proud supporter of A Loving Spoonful in her hometown of Vancouver, Canada. A Loving Spoonful delivers meals to people who are living with HIV and AIDS.
Sara Genn is also a visual artist, her work has been featured by Nissan Infiniti and in Tatler, New York Magazine, Town and Country, Canadian House and Home and Domino. Sara is represented by Voltz Clarke in New York City and in galleries across Canada.
Sara Genn's "Bedmusic" was recorded live over two days at Allaire Studios in Woodstock, New York in December, 2007. "Bedmusic" was arranged and produced by Sara Genn and Keith Witty and engineered by Keith Slattery.
