Dr Linda A Jenkins â (AKA: ââDr Linda Jenkinsââ; ââThe Shaman âDr Linda Jââ) was born in Manhattan NY on October 28, 1960. Dr Linda Jenkins is the daughter of Samuel and Jane Jenkins. She is the youngest of three children. Dr Jenkins attended The High School of Music and Art where she studied Fine Arts and graduated with Honors; she then attended Adelphi University in Garden City where she obtained a BFA degree with Honors that concentrated on the Fine Arts. Dr Jenkins is not only an accomplished Painter and Sculptor, she is a practicing licensed Psychotherapist; Social Worker, a Psychologist; and a Ordained Ecumenical Minister; Dr Jenkins enjoys Creative Writing. She has a love for poetry and composing music. There was always a brewing and increasing interest in music. The Piano; the Organ, the Keyboard and Guitar became her primary mediums in the realm of music. She was self taught in the instrumentation process after receiving formal instruction during her adolescence.
Dr Linda A Jenkins eventually went back to Adelphi University to obtain a Masters Degree in Clinical Social Work and is a Registered and Licensed Social Worker engaged in active private practice in Queens Village, New York with 25 years of experience. She then pursued her private dream to get a Doctorate degree and succeeded. She has not only achieved one Doctorate but Four from the following institutions: The American International University, Los Angeles CA; American Association of Holistic Counselors; American Association of Holistic Counselors, Honolulu, HI.
She has a Doctorate Degree in Divinity; Theology; Psychology; Philosophy and is an Ecumenical Minister. After years of counseling others to accomplish their dreams she finally decided to pursue more of her own â that is to produce Music; an Album and to share it with others.
The love of music and the need to compose her songs of Life exploded in 2008 when she composed over 120 songs thus far that of such Genre: Jazz; New Age; Mantra; Rock; Pop; Disco; Trance; Techno; Club Dance Mixes. There were a few she had composed during her adolescence that she has since re-mastered. She is registered as Independent Musician who has composed songs of diverse Genres.
