Shaddai played her first musical instrument, a melodica, at the age of 10. At secondary/grammar school with emphasis on art and music she learnt to play the piano, the violine, the accordion and the whole knowledge about the theory of music. At the age of 12 Shaddai visited a ballet school and began jazz dancing. Then, aged 14, she discovered her passion for fine arts. After high-school graduation she got the advice from her parents to study mathematics and physics with the aim to become a teacher.

Nearly at the same time, in the year 1988 she began oriental dancing. In 1992 Shaddai had her first big performance in front of a large audience and in 1993 her first own show, followed by at least two annual grand shows. In the same year she began to learn Tabla.
In 1994 she founded the Oriental Dancing School in Augsburg. She enlarged her knowledge with Indian dancing, flamenco and jazz dancing. In 1995 Shaddai was the first oriental dancer in Germany to produce a set of workshop videos.
Because of the great success she decided to stop studying mathematics and physics and in 1997 she started Oriental Studies, Egyptology and Theatre study at the renowned Ludwig-Maximilian-University at Munich. In addition she studied Turkish, Persian, Ottoman and the Hieroglyphics.

At the same time Shaddai had numerous national and international appearances at reputable theaters and companies. She finished her studies wirh great success in the year 2003. Till then her dancing school is probably grown to the largest school in Bavaria and belongs to the large schools in Germany. Shaddai designs and sews all her costumes by herself, she paints the sceneries for her performances, produces her own advertisement, and choreographs her own dances and the dances for her performace classes. The only missing part was her own music. All titels are played, arranged, composed and produced
by Shaddai.
