Hi I am Steven Odden. Let me Tell you about the CD Poems of the Moon Sky and Sea.
This CD is about the Moon, Sky, and Sea. Each Music track tells a story about one of these three characters.
The Moon is like a Women, Beautiful, faraway, and full of mystery.
The Sky is vast but full of nothing, emptiness that embraces the Moon.
The Sea is below the Moon and Sky, it is filled with anger, jealousy, and sadness.
The Moon and Sky become lovers and this angers the Sea.
The Sea tries to seduce the Moon, and tries to end
the Moons life as the Moon is reflected on it's waters in the night Sky.
In the end it's the Sky that gains the Moons affection and calls it back.
The CD is a very evocative Japanese tale portrayed by masterful shakuhachi flute and koto harp performances.
