It is all a pipe dream, or is it? An unattainable fantasy for most rock bands, yet a reality to this band. The ability to creatively construct power ridden, groove laden traditional hard edge rock music with a modern flair is Pipe Dream. The band is Ben Guenther at vocals, Josh Holden on bass, Dave McGilvrey on drums, and Adam Schwarzlose on guitar. The members of this band each bring a different creative personality, musical influence, and style that have become Pipe Dream Music.
Pipe Dream calls New Braunfels, Texas home and officially began in November of 2001. The band members, while new together in this line up, have some history together. Adam and Josh began their musical excursions into rock music locally in small country high school garage bands covering music then eventually writing their own. Adam moved on to pursue other goals while Josh remained and followed his musical direction eventually joining a previous version of the band. This project, while successful, eventually disbanded, but helped develop the solid rhythm section Pipe Dream has today. Several years later, Adam crossed paths with Josh and Dave, and the new music began. Ben completed the line up in 2001 thus beginning the vigorous writing and rehearsal process. The writing draws influences from all musical styles as each member has an appetite for varying musical genres not to be limited by any one style. With the recently released album 'Reality', the band is currently seeking a recording contract as well as aggressively pursuing the live performance circuit.
