Details:
K Sera is an indie rock project based out of Sacramento, California started by Mike Caswell in late 2007. Caswell recruited Sean Stack as a lead guitarist shortly after starting pre-production on the groupâs first EP âThe Machinistâ. Spending the next few months in the studio with producer/engineer Jay Trammell (Self Against City), the two invited a host of talented musicians to help record the EP, including several members of Self Against City (Drive Thru Records) among other local favorites.

The band quickly gained momentum by headlining their first show at The Underground in Roseville, California to a sold out crowd of over 400 fans, a mere 5 weeks after putting the first songs up on their recently created Myspace page. Following their impressive debut, the group has shared the stage with many up and coming acts including A Change of Pace, Houston Calls, We Shot the Moon and Brighten. Proving that lightning can strike twice, the boys of K Sera performed again in front of a sold out crowd at The Underground and in just a matter of months have become one of the most prominent artists in the Sacramento Valley.

With nearly 5,000 physical copies of âThe Machinistâ distributed, in addition to thousands of digital downloads, the record has proven a hit in every market it has been exposed to. On up-tempo singles such as âEdge of the Mapâ and âTouch Me,â the band infuses swing and indie styles with pop sensibility; while tracks like âForget the Oneâ and the epic âTurn Yourself Inâ connect with fans of all genres.

Most recently, K Sera welcomed David Christiansen (piano/keyboards) as a full-time member. The band is current performing regionally and writing in anticipation of their next release in early 2009.
