Forming out of the ashes of what seems like a million long-forgotten calgary bands (the most "notable" being Showdown 76, lucas, and rebel young republican), porter hall has appeared on the Self Portrait #2 7" comp on permafrost records, and have been featured on numerous CD compilations in the past year. They have played around the Canadian prairies, mostly at all ages shows (outside of calgary) and the occasional seedy bar event (almost always in calgary).
On this recording porter hall was: jeff, munro, ross and todd. Replace jeff with darren and you have porter hall version 2.1. Both versions are from calgary, alberta, canada.
