This is a small collection of some of the incidental music of the past few years of our lives-music that reflects some of the reaching, resting, bewilderment, wonder, joy, already, not yet, and most of all grace that make up the Christian life, a life that revolves around the singular, though infinitely-faceted, end of knowing God. So, whether slicing through the fog of some forsaken back road; struggling for consciousness amidst the midnight highway's blur; taking in the sights, smells, and sounds of all that is the land's end; dousing the coals with lighter fluid for the third time this evening; enjoying the company of friends and beloveds; cleaning house; or staring at the ceiling trying, for the life of you, to figure out how you got where you are; it is our hope that these songs will, in some way, cause your thoughts to rest on Him and the great salvation He has provided for us in Jesus Christ.
