An Illustrated Attempt is the primary creative outlet for it's creator, Peterson Cullimore. Born out of a simultaneous love for music and computers, An Illustrated Attempt rides the edge between conventional pop rock and an electronically saturated ambiance. An Illustrated Attempt was created in the Summer of 2007, following a freshman year in college. Spending time in and out of the hospital, Peterson's writing focus is broad--everything from relationships to happiness and life itself. A love for instruments, music, and sound has led An Illustrated Attempt to the interest of self production and the recording process. Currently 100 self-produced, An Illustrated Attempt will continue to make and record music until it isn't fun anymore.
