IT IS ALL ABOUT JESUS!!!

We are the Moon/Gunn Family originally from Sylacauga, Alabama. We have, for quite a while, wanted to come together and sing to the Glory of God. This desire to sing was the inspiration of our dad, the late Pastor William Miles Moon, who brought us up in a home full of gospel music. The Soulstirrers, The Swanee Quintet, The Blind Boys of Alabama and Mississippi were just a few of the other popular gospel singing groups we heard on those 78 phonograph albums. Our dad sang with the Five Kings of Harmony of Sylacauga, Alabama for many years and they would sometimes come to our house to practice. What a joy it was to be in our rooms (sometimes peeping around the corner too) and hearing them fill our house with harmonious sounds of gospel music. We also would hear them on the local radio station on Sunday mornings singing songs of Zion. When Dwight was about 15, dad allowed him to join the group but however, he didnât last too long because he was not ready for such a strenuous endeavor.

The Lord finally anointed Dwight with the mind to make a joyful noise unto Him in 1985 and in 1989 he joined with our dad, Aaron, Gregory and Terrance (his son) to sing a song he wrote "JESUS LIVES" at a church function in Sylacauga. Later on he began to sing solos and join in with numerous choirs in the Montgomery area.

He co-founded the Gospel Harmonizers of Montgomery, Alabama in 1996, who later changed their name to The Alabama Boys. This union lasted for ten years until the Holy Spirit directed him to resume a solo singing ministry.

The Lord gave Dwight all of these songs and he continued to encourage us to come together and leave an inheritance for our childrenâs children. It was kind of hard coming together because we all live in four different cities (Hoover, Pelham, Montgomery and Sylacauga). and sometimes that was difficult. However, we finally realized that NOTHING IS TOO HARD FOR GOD! NOTHING!!!

Dare to dream. Pray about it and believe that God will help you to use your talent for His Glory.

We understand that the Bible states that we are to "â¦Make a joyful noise" unto the Lord, not unto man. We cannot please every man, but we can please God when we PRAISE HIM with ALL of our hearts, minds and souls.

What a joy this project has been and we owe it all to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!
