Dialéctica de la Luz y de la Sombra can be translated as:Dialogue between Light and shadow.It is the first CD composed and produced by me,Daniel Martínez.
It is also a Homage to the Peruvian Poet Cesar Vallejo, to Mexican writer Juan Rulfo,also John Reed who Lived down in Chihuahua ,back in the year of 1913 during the Mexican Revolution , and worked as a Journalist very close to General Pancho Villa and his Army. La balada de John Reed is linked to a Mexican Folk Song Los Laureles so called which is also knowed as El Huerfanito (The little orphan) and belongs to the the Mexican Folklore.
Some tunes are memorials devoted to my dead relatives (Dad, Mom, and my Brother Toño)
This CD is about Latinamerican music. Hope you enjoy it
VIVA EL BLUES by ALEA JACTA EST is another CD composed by Daniel and his son Ulises and published in CDBaby back in 2006.
