Project DW

Project DW consists of 2 writer/perfomers: DB Williams and Dominic Williams (not related). We have been recording our music -as well as-working with vocalist/writer Traci Mattison and others for the last 2 years. Our music is a light, Jazzy R&B sound tending towards the R&B influences of the 70s and early 80s.

Dominic Williams plays bass, keys, guitar and drums, and I (DB) play woodwinds, keyboards. Dominic has been writing and performing for over 15 years and I have been a writer/performer for over 25 years.

Traci Mattison, R&B/jazz vocalist from Columbus, Ohio, recorded Lament with us late last year. Our latest project, Clean Slate, is an entirely instrumental project. The title evokes the feeling of starting over in a new direction, which is apropo for this time in our career.
