Picture this:

An assortment of hauntingly beautiful songs, combined with raw and honest emotions, all brought to a shimmering life by ruminative vocals. Guitar licks slice right through your soul and leave you in an amber-like state of suspended animation. Bass riffs that draw you into an inescapable black hole of enticement, and drum tracks anchoring each song to solid ground, beat after heart-thumping beat. This is PULSE X. "In Your Face" rock at its best.

The remnant of two collapsing stars, PULSE X originates from bands 'Bruised Apple' and 'Odise'.

Louie Mann, a vocalist on both projects, recruited guitarist extraordinaire, Danny Austin (Odise) and introduced him to bassist Tom McMahon and drummer John Cuccia (Bruised Apple).
From day one at Lyric Rehearsal Studios, the newly formed members knew they were embarking on a voyage of no return, PULSE X evolving into an unstoppable musical force that would one day take over the world.

It wasn't long before PULSE X began playing a regular set at the infamous 'Voodoo Lounge' amongst other top NYC venues. The band's live performances were dangerously riveting on an apocalyptic level, with rockin' songs such as "Broken Clay", "Hold on" and "Cell", literally bringing down the house, to mellow tunes like "Apparitions in the Midst" and "Enchanted", leaving audiences, well... enchanted.

A non-stop, powerful weekend was all it took for the band to demonstrate the stuff they were made of. The recording sessions at 'Sorcerer Recording Studios' were as real to the core as one could get, witnessing true-to-life talent on the go.

Lights dimmed and candles ablaze, Mann seemed to invoke a voice only fallen angels should possess, as he ferociously sang through each track and never holding back. Austin delivered magnificent chords traveling on waves of melancholy, drawing in the band ever closer to his futuristic guitar playing.

One could truly say that on and off stage, Mann and Austin were the blood vein behind PULSE X, their instruments singing like devils in the midst of all chaos. Meanwhile, McMahon and Cuccia, the backbone of the band, stood by as dark and watchful agents, holding bay within the eye of the storm.

There is nothing like PULSE X's sound. Come... "Let the water touch your heart, your mind." Be drawn into this mystical world of torrential symphonies and immortal ambience. Check your pulse. Are you still alive? Has the world come to an end? Once you've crossed over, you may never be the same again...
