Ronald"Tyke"Oliver also used to be a part time teacher. He and his music partner at the time, Mark Joyner, who also was a part time teacher, decided they wanted to find music to help them teach in their classrooms.

So they went the usual route and visited the local retail stores, but found that there was not a lot of the of kind of material they were looking for. " I was looking for something the kids would enjoy and learn from, but also something I would enjoy too"!

So it dawned on Ron "Hey I'm a music producer, why don't I make my own"? He ran the idea by his music partner and they decided to create a song. They started with "States and Capitals".

They took it the school, played it for the students, and the kids loved it! Soon other teachers asked for a copy and.....Discover and Learn was born! Soon they made more: the Multiplication Song, the Solar System, The Phonics Song and others.

With his music partner moving to another state, Ron decided to make more and more songs, create characters and with the business expertise of his wife assisting him, they have developed a very special place for teachers, parents, schools, daycares and children to find fun, exciting and creative songs and material!
