Born the first child of God-fearing parents, Douglas R. Bramwell was destined for a life spent in Christian service. At the tender age of 13, he heeded the call of the Lord and accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Savior. Throughout his life, Douglas R. Bramwell has learned to personalize these scriptures:
âOne thing have I desired of the LORD, That will I seek: That I may dwell in the house of the LORD All the days of my life, To behold the beauty of the LORD, And to inquire in His temple.â (Psalm 27:4)

Being blessed with an array of God-given talents, Douglas R. Bramwell seeks to give back to God all that he can; in so doing, he has served in different capacities. He has worked with the youth and young at heart from his home church in Kingston, Jamaica to date at Gateway Church in South Florida. While in Jamaica, Douglas R. Bramwell had the opportunity of being the Manager of Light of Life Ministries, Co-founder and Lead vocalist of Portmore Vision Gospel Choir (PVGC), Lead vocalist of Faith Gospel Band and an ardent member of the Sons and Daughters Ministries.

âAs a youngster, I attended a lot of concerts and I was so fascinated by the musicians that I could always be found at the foot of the stage trying to soak up everything,â says Douglas, remembering his childhood days. Since then, God has blessed him and enabled him to turn his desires into a reality.

Douglas R. Bramwell migrated from Jamaica to New York City over fifteen years ago. New York was his watering ground for that which was planted in him in Jamaica. He continued in the ministry, serving as the Director of Youth Ministries, Director of Music, Praise and Worship Leader, implementing Praise Teams and Choirs and administering music workshops. Now in South Florida, much fruit is evident in Douglas' ministry and can be seen at Gateway Church where he serves as Minister of Music and ministers throughout the United States spreading the gospel through song.

These beliefs are reflected in his upcoming project, âIn Endless Praise,â a long anticipated Praise and Worship album which has a colossal of music styles, such as Soothing Acoustic, Reggae, R & B, Gospelypso and Contemporary Christian; all resonant and reverberating sounds, lifting up the name of Jesus.

All through Douglasâ life he has remained unchanged: "I believe that at all times I am in the presence of the Almighty God because He is Omni-present (ever- present). And I, like the Psalmist David, will enter into His gates with thanksgiving and into His courts with praise. But, don't get me wrong! I don't wait until I get to the sanctuary to worship because I am always in worship. I don't know any other way to be. And when I worship I give my all because in my worship (singing, composing, writing or playing) it should always win a soul for the Lord and His kingdom."

Douglas R. Bramwell thanks the Lord for what He has done, is doing and marvels at the great things God has in store for him and his family. He is blessed with his beautiful wife Jackie and gorgeous daughter Dori-Ann Lorraine.
