After sitting in his living room watching a documentary about Daniel Johnston in January of 2008, Kirk Ramsay (Giant Hand) was inspired to create his own version of un-processed folk music. Kirk walked down the street to a music store and traded some items for an acoustic guitar. He returned to his living room and sat down for an afternoon thinking up lyrics in his head. He recorded three songs with a second hand microphone in his living room that night and as the weeks went by, Kirk had created several other songs with no intention of anyone listening to them. His simple, honest lyrics and his care free attitude towards his music have been a breath of fresh air for listeners who are tired of over processed music and just want to listen to someone's voice and a guitar.
