I colori che cambiano (The changing colours) is the second work of
Giorgio's discography.
The mood is quite dark and refrains are very powerful for shoegaze
guitar attacks presence.
Lyrics represent a very angry and often sad Giorgio, who tries to
fight against artificiality and emptiness of the plastic world of
consumption.
This is a total electric album, except a couple of tracks placed in
the end of this record.
Se tu lo vuoi (if you want it) is a powerful track against
alienation; Insaziabile (insatiable) talks about people who are chasing
dreams all the time without reaching it.
Aquilone (kite) lyrics explain how some people try to let their kite
fly but some other amuse themselves to let it fall..
Risorgerai (you'll rise) is the story of a staggering soul choked by
artificial flavours of modern life; Emozioni Meccaniche (mechanical
emotions)..talks about mechanical emotions devices that reduce daily pain; Vero
(true) tells how important is being true everyday; La nebbia (the fog)..
when the mist is rising a regal clothed woman leads the man into a sort
of magical shelter far away from plastic world; Re Smeraldo (king Emerald) is a ballad dedicated to
dreamers like Syd; Un mondo di plastica (One plastic world) lyrics are
angry shouts against produce-consume-die life system of modern life.
Correre (running) is the story of a man who works and produces all the
time..but one day he has an heart attack and dies..few minutes later he
rises and starts to work and produce again, running. I colori che
cambiano (The changing colours) is the titletrack. Lyrics talk about
people who are not able to distinguish how colours are changing day by
day. Il sentiero magico (The magical path) is a very quiet and peaceful
piano track.
Fuga dal nulla verso qualcosa (escape from nothing towards something)
is a very rhythmed instrumental progressive track.
