Gian Marco was born in August in Lima - Peru. He started his career playing in bars and pubs of Peru. He travelled to Chile in order to study Graphic Design, however, his passion for the music changed his destiny, that now shows us an artist not only applauded in his country but in Latin America.

âI remember very fond my first steps in music, they would not let me lose the perspective so that I remember where I come from, my origins. This have set me ground so I would not be overwhelmed me by fame. I have never looked for it, what I seek is the appreciation to my work and to live for the music for many years.â, says the singer-songwriter.

Gian Marco won the respect of his Peruvian audience thanks to his particular style in singing his songs. The simplicity and integrity of his musical work have naturally mixed his experience as troubadour of bohemian nights and daily observer with the urban poetry carried in his blood.

âSince my teens I have made music, it is something natural, it is my vocation. I live to compose, to sing, to tell stories. All this motivates me. I do not want to sign a contract with fame, but with the respect to a work that makes me quiver; the final road of a song is the people, and that makes me happy.â, express the artist.

After five albums in his native country, and after hundreds of tours and live concerts, Gian Marco was eager to show his art to the world. The Mexican, Mauricio Abaroa -his manager- helped the singer -songwriter to find the way to fulfill his dreams.

In 2000 Gian Marco decided to move to Miami in order to grow up as an artist and to be part of the big leagues of music. Hereafter the history of his carrier headed to another direction, and the opportunity to share his previous experienced with the world came after all.

His album A TIEMPO, produced by Emilio Estefan, obtained his first three nominations to the Latin Grammy Awards 2003. Songs like SE ME OLVIDO y LAMENTO were rank first in many countries of Latin America and Spain.

His vein of songwriter made successfully hits performed by great artist of the Latin American music, such as Alejandro Fernandez (Canta Corazon), Gloria Estefan (Tu fotografia, Hoy), Emmanuel (Sentirme vivo), Marc Anthony (Hasta que vuelvas conmigo), Obie Bermudez (Me canse de ti), among others.

Gian Marco, always developing, risked for new sounds and so came the album RESUCITAR, co-produced with Sebastian Krys. The artist obtained his fifth nomination to the Latin Grammy Awards 2005 and won in the category of Best SingerâSongwriter Album. In 2006 Gian Marco released his eighth album OCHO. The recording and mixing of this album was fulfilled in two months and produced by Kiko Cibrian. The product was something natural and fresh that pointed to a pop â rock audience, winning âone more time- double platinum record.

This year 2008, the singerâsongwriter comes back with DESDE ADENTRO, produced by Aureo Baqueiro. This album closes the circle of his musical career and shows an artist completely sure of his musical evolution that bets for his own compositions performed by great singers that now come back to his original start point.
