"Iâve been using Geoffâs music for contemporary dance classes for a number of years. It started with Aeros, as Iâve worked with one of the choreographers several times. I first heard the Bipedal Movement in Houston during a dance company warm up class. I immediately purchased it. To give you an idea of the excitement this music brings to my classes, the first cd got plenty of use and I had to replace it because of scratches (this was really before the time I had access to CD drives and iTunes on computers). The second purchase, I held on too for quite a while and now has mysteriously disappeared, so Iâm soon to order my third cd and all others (with a mind to save the originals and use my iPod for class). Iâve taken this music to use for master classes through the United States and Hawaii to Europe (Austria, Germany, Portugal, England) and as far as Taiwan. If I donât have live accompaniment, I always have this music. The dancers love the introductions in different languages and each meter is instantly a hit. Iâm thrilled to hear any new projects."

Geoff Bennett

As a percussionist/drummer/vocalist Geoff has created scores for over 40 dance/theatre performances, worked as a session musician on numerous recording projects (including Sony and Warner Bros. releases)written and produced two solo percussion recordings and created the scores for five feature films and over 300 episodes of television (see website for television credits). His CD "Next Of Skin" was released in 2005 and Geoff is currently in productuion on a new cd slated for release in 2009.

In 2000/2001 Geoff was a featured performer in AEROS
performing live percussion solo's and accompanying the outstanding original musical score by TTG Music .A film of the live performance of "AEROS:Inside Upside Down", premiered on BRAVO US. on October 21, 2001.

AEROS features gold medal-winning gymnasts from the Romanian Gymnastics Federation, directed by Daniel Ezralow, David Parsons and Moses Pendleton in collaboration with "STOMP" creators Luke Cresswell and Steve McNicholas.


Geoff was principal accompanist from 1988-2001 for Dancemakers Company under Artistic Director Serge Bennathan. During this time he also played extensively at The National Ballet School and Toronto Dance Theatre.
