The Raskal was born in November of 1976 in Tucson, Arizona.He grew up listening to the hip-hop sounds of N.W.A.,Ice-T,Geto Boyz,House Of Pain, etc. The Raskal became a real hip-hop fan at the arrival of the late great Tupac Shakur.In the mid 90's he began fooling around, writing lyrics,and making beats, but did not really take the rap game
seriously until 2001.The Raskal has a unique style all of his own,with a cross of West Coast with HardCore UnderGround all in 1. In the year 2001, this up and coming star catapulted onto the hip-hop scene as a huge smash becoming the reigning Rap-Attack battle champion on Tucson's # 1 radio station 93.7 KRQQ.The rap-attack was a competition of rapping about your school.The winners are decided by callers votes only.The Raskal won for a record straight 30 weeks in a row without defeat be fore promptly retiring.After that, he then started doing showcases and started headlining local shows in Tucson with in a few months. The Raskal has shared big venues with artists such as Young M.C.,Nelly,Lil Bow Wow,Digital UnderGround,and rap phenom Snoop Dogg. By the middle of the year 2002, The Raskal was finishing up his debut album "The Mischievous One" and continued sharing venues with artists such as Too Short, Fat Joe, Master-P,DJ Quik,and more. November 2002 The Raskal "The Mischievous One" was completed and in stores.The album did well while having no promotion at all.This album featured the hit single "Take No Prisonerz". In December of 2002 The Raskal hooked up with the Nb Ridaz and completed the 1st single of his official debut album "Rearranging The Game". Rearranging The Game was finished and released in Sept. 2003.This album featurez the hit single "Tonight" feat.M.C. Magic of Nb Ridaz.The album also featurez Napoleon(2Pacs OutLawz),Gemini,Slow Pain,Lil Demon,Sykk 1,Trilogy,Petah Roy and much more.The Raskal is still currently doing venues with artists such as Ludacris,Gemini,Too Short,Kurrupt,Lil Rob and much more.He is currently in the lab working on the forthcoming album "The Game Will Never Be The Same" due out in fall 2004.The Raskal is a lyrical genious, with phenomal stage prescence and leadership.This is 1 Hip-Hop artist to be on the look for because The Raskal WILL REARRANGE THE GAME
