Ewald Kegel (1962, The Hague, The Netherlands) started composing and creating music at a very young age after following piano lessons. From the age of 16 on Ewald also mastered the guitar. Ewald always felt most at comfort creating music by himself in his studio, just as a painter will work, instead of playing in bands and perform live. This makes that Ewald was one of the forerunners of using digital audio workstations, since the early 80's.

From 1985 on Ewald's commercial focus was on creating music for the AV industry. He wrote music for companies like BMW and the Dutch public broadcasting.

Only since 2004 Ewald has started releasing his own songs, debuting with the album "Almost Lost" containing a selection of his best known pieces from over two decades (1985 - 2004). Since "Almost Lost" Ewald has released a string of new productions, from which 'Magic Colors' is the most recent one.

In 'Magic Colors' Ewald describes in a beautiful manner the conversion of human feelings to the magic world of colors.
