RADIO NATIONALS
Seattle, WA

Ask fans of Radio Nationals what they like about the band, and you're bound to hear a variety of answers. It seems that each person hears something slightly different in the band's music that appeals to them. For some, it's the twangy, roots-oriented sound that defines the band. For others, it's the melodic pop songs that seem to stick in your head for days. For others still, it's the incendiary live shows that have made Radio Nationals well known throughout the Northwest.

Radio Nationals successfully combine elements of rock & roll, pop, and country to create a uniquely American rock sound that critics have compared to Neil Young, the Replacements, and Wilco. The band can go from distortion-filled aggression that leaves the crowd begging for more to tortured, crying-in-your-beer songs that confirm the band's country roots. Combining a solid rock foundation with melodic grit, Radio Nationals deliver catchy vocal hooks and original music that sound both fresh and timeless.

Radio Nationals is one of Seattle's top bands and they regularly bring their unforgettable live performances to other Northwest cities including Portland, Boise, and Bellingham, playing with such national acts as Buffalo Tom, Mike Watt, and R.E.M.'s Peter Buck. Buck surprised the band by joining them onstage during a recent performance at the Crocodile Cafe in Seattle. The band was doing a fiery cover of R.E.M.'s 'Driver 8' when Buck was moved to grab a guitar and jump on stage to join them. Shows like this are the reason that Radio Nationals quickly moved up the ranks of the Seattle scene, securing headlining spots at every major club in town.

The new full-length album, Place You Call Home, is the follow-up to the band's debut EP, Exit 110. Songs range from the love/hate relationships with our own personal demons to dealing with the lost dreams which often accompany small town life. With these timeless themes and catchy hooks, Radio Nationals prove that they are a force to be reckoned with in the chaotic world of rock & roll.
