When I discovered that Virginia had no state song, I was inspired to create an anthem to the Virginia Commonwealth that reflects its natural beauty, its diverse landscape, its history and its people. I hope that Iâve successfully captured those unique qualities that brought me to Virginia...that keep me here and keep me in awe. I hope, too, that you will be moved to sing along with this song made for singing and for praising Virginia, a state that has played such an important role in the history of our great land.
