Mr. McFerrin was the first African American to sign with the Metropolitan Opera. Mr. McFerrin worked with legends such as Sidney Poitier and Harry Belafonte. Rook is also the cousin of multi grammy award winner Bobby McFerrin. Bobby is well known for his mega hit âDonât Worry Be Happyâ and for his theme song to the âCosby Showâ.
Rook is ready to continue his family music tradition by giving the public what it desires. He is a skilled vocalist , song writer and plays the guitar as well. His flow and talent is what the industry has been waiting for. He is fresh and hits hard with his own style. Rook likes to give thanks to his fans, for without you there would be no Rook.
