She was a former Indian Princess of the Iroquois Indian Nation.
Her uncle posed for the famed American Buffalo Nickel and appeared in movies with John Wayne, Shirley Temple, and Ronald Reagan. Her father and grandfather were chiefs in the Iroquois Nation.
