Touched By The Hand Of The Master is a collection of original Gospel songs written by Ray Owens and was given to him by the Lord. The style is mostly Country Gospel,but there are also some songs on the album that are Southern,Bluegrass,and Pop.The title song tells about our Lords sacrifice on Calvary and how He is always ready to open his arms and recieve us and to forgive us our sins.Another song on the Project," The Good Shepherd",is a song about Our Shepherd, The Lord, leaving the ninety and nine sheep to find the one that was lost as each one of us were before the Lord found us.There are several upbeat songs on the album also such as,"Long Gone","When We Sang The Glory Down","Lord You're My Best Friend" and others. I pray it will be a blessing to you! The project was produced by Mike McClain and recorded at McClains Recording Studio.

Ray graces us with twelve Christian Country selections of which I had a hard time selcting my favorites. The title cut is great, and I liked,"Walking On The Waves" and "Last Train To Glory"."Don't Be Fooled" is a clever twist on Elvis'"Don't Be Cruel" and adds a creative panache to Ray's resume. Singer/ Songwriter Ray Owens, was raised and has spent most of his life in the town of McKinney, TX. He spent the years growing up in church and going to gospel singings. He always loved good gospel music and attempted to play drums and guitar in his younger days. His love for music and the ability to sing surely is inherited from his mother,Mary Owens as she and her sister sang in churches also. The Lord started putting songs in his heart to write about 1982 and he soon learned to play the Guitar.
His first recording was a cassette project entitled,"Gonna Be Leavin'" and the title song went to #2 on the Music Review in New York. Touched By The Hand of The Master is the current release and several songs from the album have been released to radio worldwide on Glory Train Records. The songs,"Long Gone",and "When We Sang The Glory Down" were #1 songs on the Gods Country International Music Chart as published in CMP magazine and Glory Train Express magazine.Anything that is accomplished is only by the help of the Lord and HE deserves all the praise and glory! It is my prayer that these songs will be a blessing and that you will be TOUCHED BY THE HAND OF THE MASTER
