Ray Solis & Spectrum is a variety dance band in Port Arthur, Texas. We perform now at 'The Pompano Club' in Port Neches, Texas, having performed throughout SE Texas and SW Louisiana for over 45 years. Spectrum's specialty is Adult Contemporary, Easy Listening, Golden Oldies, Latin, Country, Blues, Rock 'n Roll, Tex-Mex . . . a gamut-must for a dance band. Spectrum is available for dances, parties, shows, and all type receptions.
Ray, BMI songwriter, produced ''Spectrum Magic' in October 2000; and on September 27, 2001, 'Christmas Magic' was released. All songs on both CDs are original compositions.
Oregon Catholic Press Publications in 2002 published 'Cantamos Con El Corazon' and 'We Sing This Gift To You' and off the Christmas Magic CD.
Ray has shared the stage with Bob & Dolores Hope, Al Hirt, Marty Robbins, The Lettermen, Janis Joplin, Jerry Lee Lewis, Johnny Winter, Edgar Winter, Mickey Gilley, Johnny Lee, Johnny Gimble, Gatemouth Brown, Benny Barnes, Johnny Preston, Jivin' Gene Bourgeois, Frogman Henry, and others.
