R.B. Tate, (A.K.A., Rahzeen), has traveled the nightclub and theatre experience of soul music. At the age of 15 Tate made his first nightclub appearance as backup rhythm guitarist for his Uncle, legendary grammy nominated bluesman Howard Tate.
Tate delivers his inspirational and bluesey music with soul. The song messages are colored with a fingerpicking guitar and Harp notes. Tate's bluesy inspiring sound reaches out into the emotions of the blues
Seven of the eleven songs on this CD were written and composed by Tate. One line in the CD title song "I'm gonna make it into heaven" says, "heaven is the place I wanna be." Robert says, "yes, we wanna make it into heaven, but we also want to make heavenly success in our goals on earth." The song "Bless me Oh Lord is a sound of lonliness and cry for God's grace and blessings.
Each song written by Tate has an encouraging blues storyline. The idea is to help increase your faith to make it through life's journey. You can enjoy four traditional instrumental-vocals, arranged with a touch of soul/rhythm and blues. On these songs Tate is playing the lyrics on his 36 string Lever Harp.
