"Be As It Will" is a seductive blend of acoustic/electric poetic rock - seasoned with world rhythms, open tunings, bowed strings, and soulful vocals - creating a hypnotic contemporary sound. Regine has been attracting a loyal following for well over a decade now as a singer/songwriter and club DJ.She was one of the first women DJ's in NYC to work the turntables of the larger clubs like Limelight, Webster Hall and Lot61 & She made a name for herself spinning the legendary Monday nights at Heartbreak and China Club.

While earning a living as a DJ, Dina was also making quite a lot of noise in the 90's with the Irish-American group NAKED GRAPE (Sony Music).When the Grapes broke up, She and guitarist Kieran McEvoy joined forces and formed Swamp Honey, adopting a more earthy acoustic sound.Swamp Honey became a favorite of East Village clubs like Cafe Sin-e' and CB's 323 Gallery.

BE AS IT WILL is Regine's first solo effort as both an artist and producer. Most of the CD was recorded in Dina's home studio, both analog and digital.She plays acoustic & electric guitar, mandolin, & tenor triolian, on the CD as well as some bass and percussion. Her Buddies playing on the CD are: Alan Gevaert, Will Lee, Kasim Sulton, Malcolm Gold-bass, Jerry Arias, Russ Reilly, Bill Dobrow-drums, David Bravo-Keyboard,Martha Colby-cello, & Michelle Casillas-bkup.vox.

MINOR 7TH: Regine has a bluesy cool as ice delivery that occasionally carries a tinge of gravel like Rickie Lee or Kim Carnes. Regine uses an open-string acoustic sound to add a hypnotic drone like vibe to her uniqie brand of rock...ethereal, yet driving in the spirit of U2. Very cool.

NY ROCK: When I first threw on this cd I was in a foul mood, but by the time the music ended, I was at peace with the world...The 12 songs here balance between acoustic and electric with never too much of either. Nor is Regine a slouch on guitar, her finger picking is strong and on "Thru the dust" she lets a hint of the Delta shine with some slide work. This isn't the kind of disc that grabs you by the throat, but rather sinks in deeply with repeated play. Think of sitting around on a summer night with a light breeze, a drink in your hand, no worries and you'll get the idea.
