OutReason began simply with a love for music. Marc and Matthew had humble beginnings literally playing In the Shed. That's not necessarily how the two met but that is where this story begins. Two years later, the boys began the search for members sharing the same passion. Along came Jean-François and Guillaume. These two gentlemen had formerly been the backbone for a hardrock band. Obviously this made for an effortless transition as the new rhythm section for OutReason. At last the band was complete...

Not quite; Shaun. In the autumn of 2007, Shaun came to see the band perform live. As a producer, Shaun recognized the full potential of the band and after a brief conversation, it was decided that Shaun would record the first EP, Best Foot Forward. Five months of studio time later it would become apparent that Shaun was destined to be the fifth member of OutReason. The band was complete; five guys, one mission... rock 'n roll.
