Zakaryah Ben Yisrael is a Hebrew Israelite that is on a mission to teach and convey a positive remembrance of better times. This calling is expressed through ZAKBEN, a Hebrew solo musical artist. The debut album, "ZAKBEN In The Beginning..." is meant to make the youth accountable for their own heritage and history, and to leave the listener with an abundance of knowledge and conscious thinking.
Zakaryah Ben Yisrael embraces the spiritual ways of his old heritage, prior to his forefathers existence in America.

Zakaryah Ben Yisrael developed his musical talents as an R & B and Rock recording artist. He learned to play the bass and guitar at the age of 10 in his home town of Silver Springs, Maryland. In 1984 Zakaryah Ben Yisrael was signed to Vanguard Recording Label. During his time as a musician Zakaryah has played in notable bands like, Central Groove, Sea Hunt, Ramsey, Infernal Machine
Ovid, 4 Faces.

He found his way to the light of his Hebrew heritage through his own personal questions and concerns with the ways of the world, "I wanted to know why another man hated me and I have done nothing to him," Zakaryah Ben Yisrael. Through that question he began his search and found his lost spiritual heritage by the way of YHWH, the creator. Through his studies he has come to the following conclusion, "I hate no man, but I hate the evil within man;Amos 5:15" Zakaryah Ben Yisrael.

Through the mercies of the Most High, ZAKBEN has band members that share the same ideals and beliefs. Big H who has been a drummer for over 20 years is also a Hebrew Israelite has been a part of the Hebrew Israelites for a many years now. Together they share the mission and plan to carry it across the world. "ZAKBEN...In The Beginning" is already an international phenomenon that is heavily anticipated on three continents.
