Details:
Reyna Larson
began her musical career in 1998 as lead singer/songwriter of the Chicago based Mabel Mabel; a seven piece eclectic pop band that built a strong regional following and a very loyal fan base.

In 2002, she switched gears to join forces with ultra alternative producer/drummer Brian Deck (Modest Mouse, Red Red Meat, Califone). What began as a studio project for the two soon became Tilda Tora: an alternative rock band featuring Reyna and Brian. Their 5 track EP Stifle Yourself was released in 2003 and featured on various Chicago radio stations.
And now...A solo album.
Feeling the need to work on something a little more roots oriented, Reyna approached singer/songwriter Dave Ramont (Clayhead Records) in May 2004 to produce a new batch of songs that were written that same month after a reckless trip to New Orleans. The goal was to produce something a little more stripped down, a little less polished, and very sincere. The full- length album, Some Folks Need a Name, had a September 7, 2004 release on Clayhead records.
