Realdoyle is the brainchild of Josh Doyle (songwriter/musician/producer) along with guitarist & co-songwriter Adam Ratcliff. It is these two audiophiles who produce every sound you hear. This album was written and recorded in a one room studio apartment overlooking a busy city street. If you listen closely you can hear the Traffic. Mixing and Mastering was left up to the skillful engineers at the Headway Music Complex (Beck, Sting, James Brown) in Los Angeles.

Josh and Adam have both spent the last 10 years writing and performing, with their partnership beginning in Kiss Ernie (1995 - 1998). Kiss Ernie was a popular Midwest based alternative rock band that was one of five unsigned bands chosen to perform in the 1997 national Ticketmaster Music Showcase. After a brief hiatus, Josh and Adam reformed as Realdoyle to produce a eclectic album of songs that feel and sound like they were meant to be together.

Without hesitation you will be able to tell that Realdoyle is something fresh and overdue. This music requires you to not only have open ears but also open hearts. If you can only listen then you will only get half of what Realdoyle is all about.
