Mack Preston is one of the few artists who have been able to successfully take modern rock and blend it with a classic feel. Originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania this unique artist has spent most of his life perfecting his vocal skills. Starting out as a background singer for local bands introduced his voice to audiences throughout the state. His distinctive look and his powerful voice became the catalyst to making bands and audiences long to hear him as a lead singer.
Growing up his older brothers exposed him to such rock pioneers as Rush, Boston and Led Zeppelin. This helped influence his style and also inspired him to learn to play drums. Mack fast became an accomplished drummer. His looks, voice and now skills on the drums made him a triple threat. This further secured him as a dominant presence on the local music scene.
Eventually, Mack's musical journey took him to Florida where he could be found in some of Miami's hottest recording studios. After accomplishing a multitude of musical goals there, he decided to come to Los Angeles and dedicate himself to his debut album. The album is entitled "Tortured Mind". Mack is a passionate artist. His well-crafted lyrics explore the mind, soul and spirit with an edge only rock can give.
