RiPPED
RIPPED was conceived and brought to fruition in 1998 with their first demo "Emotions" that attracted their new manager Gerry Young of Current Records & Management (Parachute Club, Martha & the Muffins). It was produced by rock legend Jamie Stewart (The Cult) and was the first stepping stone of this new phenomenon. With the guidance of an experienced veteran of the international music scene on their side and a strong repertoire of new rock/pop music, Ripped secured their first record deal with Sextant Records / EMI Distibution in early 2002.
Bloodshot was given a great welcome by Canadian radio and had "Make it Happen", produced by the pop rock legend Mike Hanson of Glass Tiger, featured on over 20 radio stations across the country....including rotation on a few. This was followed up with "Misery" which also had many features as the second single to radio. Video was also good to RIPPED, "The Haunting" was on rotation at Edge TV and was shot as part of the final credits for the feature film "Insight of Evil" (2003) by Slasher Films.
