Brian Wendt has had a love affair with the acoustic guitar and the music that is performed on the guitar for over 4 decades. He has studied with many guitarists including Leo Kottke, Tommy Emmanuel, Laurence Juber, Alex Degrassi, Pat Donahue, John Knowles and Pete Huttlinger.

Brian has performed at many colleges, concert halls, clubs and other venues throughout the western United States. He performs original instruments as well as covers of ragtime, blues, jazz and popular tunes. He also writes many of the songs that he performs.

"My compositions embrace many styles and moods. When I am composing or arranging I think of the guitar as a 6 string orchestra and I try to challenge my abilities as well as my sensibilities. In choosing a song to sing I look for well written, meaningful lyrics, a good melody and a special spirit that moves me when I perfom the song."
