Biography

Name: Ricky Burns D.O.B.: 1-19-69
A.K.A.: Wild Cannon Sign: Capricorn

History

I was born in Monticello, N.Y. (Catskills Mts.). I am the oldest of 3. I spent 15 years in Philadelphia, PA. I am currently residing in Dover, DE. for the past year. I am engaged and have 2 stepchildren. I have a daughter and 2 stepchildren from a previous marriage.

Aspirations

I've been rapping since 1981. I wrote my first song the first day i heard "Rappers Delight", at the age of 11. For the last 24 yrs. I've developed my own identity by evolving alongside the rap industry. I create my own beats and write my own lyrics.

Expectations

It's been long anticipated, my material has grown into an arsenal of diversity. Mentally, everyday life has made me persevere over stressful situations. My mind is focused on making the right decisions in the midst of conflicts and crisis. Spiritually, God has guided me. I don't use any narcotics. I believe in teaching my children by example; how to survive and rise above.

Introspection

A record deal will not be the beginning or the ending to my music. I've already finished my first CD. I will be content if I only sold 500 copies.

Conclusion

I just want to be heard, like anyone else. My lyrics are heartfelt and some inspirational. If I make it big "thank God." If I don't, I just hope that someone somewhere gained something from my lyrics. I feel I'm very different than any other rapper out there. My music is my life. I will continue to do it whether anybody hears it or not.
