Details:
First of all I would like to thank Kim Nicklaus for his energy and work on this CD. I met Kim Nicklaus through mutual friends and I found out he was working in a recording studio called "The Recordatory" on second street in Seattle. I told him I had written a few songs and one thing led to another and before I knew it I was recording in Seattle.
Together we made six cuts in his studio with Kim doing most of the technical stuff and me getting in the way a lot. I learned a lot from this experience with Kim and the other studio musicians that were called in to play. At that time Kim was also playing keyboards for the Kingsmen of Louie Louie fame. Through that association I can say that at least three of the musicians from the Kingsmen are on this CD. Kim Nicklaus on keyboards, Steve Peterson played most of the drums and percussions for these tracks, he is a great guy and a great talent (check out www.louielouie.org for pics). Dick Peterson played drums on one track (thanks Dick!) Through the years I have lost track of the other musicians that contributed, so if you know who you are I say thanks! My contributions were lead and background vocals in addition to 12 string accoustic guitar.
As far as musical style of the album goes, I think it falls somewhere in the folkcountryjazzrockeasylistening genre.
This was a labor of love for me and I hope you enjoy it.
