RockBottom Blues, a highly-energetic six-man band from Santa Cruz, has recently been bringing good old rock & roll and blues to audiences all over Northern California. Norton Buffalo has described RockBottom as, "one of the hottest young blues sensations to hit Santa Cruz in years". They've created their catchy beats by mixing blues, rock, funk, and reggae to produce music that is multi-faceted and original, appealing to all audiences. RockBottom blends each member's individual flavor while simultaneously drawing on influences of legendary greats such as Jimi Hendrix, The Allman Brothers, Taj Mahal, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Paul Butterfield, and many more to produce a sound that always leaves their crowds wanting more. RB's motto is "Everybody's had the blues". VOCALS: Codi Binkley, a native of Sonoma, California, is a vocalist whose passion for music is not only heard, but also felt in every note he sings. Codi grew up listening to and touring with his parents' band, Rick Binkley Bad River. These early experiences contributed to his strong music background in the sounds of folk, country, and blues. Codi's soulful vocals add depth and range to the full and flavorful music of RockBottom Blues. This soul singer's major influences are Buddy Guy, B.B. King, Johnny Lang, and Bobby ''Blue'' Bland. GUITAR:Gabe Brueske, a rocker-gone-bluesman, was lured into the blues by its screaming melodies. He grew up in Sonoma and has been playing the guitar for years. Gabe developed a love for music at a young age through the encouragement of his parents who pushed him toward blues from an early age. His major musical influences include Gary Moore, Robben Ford, Mark Knoppler, and Eric Johnson. Gabe has previously played with The All Nighters, Live Wire, and Devillock. HARMONICA:Jeremy ''Booger'' Heinemann is a high-spirited harp player who was born and raised in Sonoma. His Chicago-blues style adds energetic beats to Rockbottom's fresh and upbeat rhythms. Jeremy has previously recorded with other bands including The All Nighters, The Choppers, and The Logan St. Boys. His main influences are Junior Wells, Norton Buffalo, Paul Butterfield, and John Mayall. BASS:Zakk Murphy - This cool cat brings his rambling bass and rockabilly undertones to the original music of RockBottom Blues Band. Zakk is also strongly influenced by his father's Sonoma based rock 'n roll & blues blues band, Murphy's Garage. Zakk has had years of experience performing and recording all over the Bay Area with such bands as Rebel Rocket, The Hyjax, V.O.I.D., The Merge, and the Soul Cats. GUITAR:Ray Masterson comes to RockBottom all the way from New Jersey. He has been playing guitar from coast to coast with his extreme ''funkmaster'' style. Ray grew up on the East Coast and has always had a strong connection to music and is greatly influenced by Stevie Ray Vaughn, Buddy Guy, Johnny Lang, and Jimi Hendrix
