Details:
Those of you who have been wondering what happened to your Rock N' Roll music need search no further than THE ROCKIT KING. This quintet hailing from Grand Rapids, MI is proving that musicianship and raw power still exists and even thrives in an era of soggy pop and cookie cutter major label vomit. Throwing caution to the wind, this behemoth follows no rules, makes no apologies and writes music ranging from blues to pop to metal, always remembering their rock n' roll ancestors and never forgetting that melody + pocket + guitar = magic.

Taking direction from legends such as Thin Lizzy, Led Zeppelin, AC/DC and Ozzy Osbourne, THE ROCKIT KING released their debut album Day Late & A Dollar Short in 2003 and haven't looked back since, quickly becoming the undisputed rulers of a growing underground Michigan Rock scene. Loved by audiences and envied by their peers, TRK's incendiary live performances have garnered them opening slots with artists like David Lee Roth, Skid Row, Faster Pussycat, Dokken, David Allan Coe and Brett Michaels of Poison.

Never making apologies and always looking forward, the boys have already written and recorded their next monsterpiece of guitar driven mayhem and are planning a summer 2005 release of Saddle Up, the follow up to their undeniable Day Late album. Expect a thicker, meaner and even more focused TRK to emerge in the upcoming year with one goal and one purpose: Lay waste to today's radio slop and restore showmanship, personality and balls to Rock N' Roll music.
