After all, the twenty-something budding stars on the contemporary pop music scene, haven't lived long enough to invest real meaning into the standards they're singing. It appears that the 30+ audience, an underserved market, according to Billboard (4/26/03), is enjoying both his music and the interesting story of a businessman-turned-singer at this stage in life.

The title song of the CD, "Someone Like You", is a sleeper tune from the Broadway musical, Jekyll and Hyde, written by Frank Wildhorn, with lyrics by Leslie Bricusse. It is a power-ballad that is resonating with an adult crowd, especially women. The other twelve tunes are updated versions of some timeless classics not heard in a while.
