The music of the band, Saturday at 11, can be described as a wonderful blend of alternative rock and folk with a smattering of jazz. The three musicians, Michelle Lamb, Scott Menard and Jeff Reiner not only come from different parts of the U.S., but also developed their chops in different genres: blues, folk and rock. They hooked up through the internet in the Seattle area and fell into rehearsing every "Saturday at 11." It all comes together smoothly on their self-titled CD-sort of a cross between Sheryl Crow, Aimee Mann and Sarah McLachlan.
