Sawyer & Medina are a three piece rock group hailing from Los Angeles, California, and Ensenada Baja California.

Recently they played with Emitt Rhodes, whose solo credits notwithstanding, led the Merry-Go-Round; better known as the 1960's power quartet behind Linda Rondstat.

In the past S&M have been on tour with Joan Baez, jammed with Led Zeppelin in Malibu, CA, and covered most of three continents.

Robert Sawyer, lead singer, guitarist & bassist is a musicares supporter for the Grammy's. He's worked with Led Zep, the Who at the Electric Ladyland (Jimi Hendrix) studios where he worked on many recordings with Michael Moms. He sings, plays acoustic and electric guitar, bass, and mandolin.

Ryan Medina from Hawthorne, California is a published poet, and percussionist whose poetry work has been featured in books in England and the United States. He is world renown for his stewardship of the history of popular music. Many of his peers in the Hawthorne community include Brian Wilson (childhood neighbor), Emitt Rhodes, and Jim Morrison whom he befriended on the Sunset strip.

The Roselea CD was recorded using the original Spirit drum set. Spirit's amazing sound is alive and well withinn Sawyer & Medina.
