Now in 2005 comes a new solo music cd from SCOTT M. RIFKIN; the founding member of THE EXPLORATION PROJECT called SOLITARY EXPOSURES.
Imagine mental images, photographs of the past, present and future; flashing back or flashing forward into different Places, Spaces and Worlds.
Can this really be done! Can the images of one person be shared with another human being! Is Meta Communication really possible! Perhaps after listening to this cd you'll be able to communicate to others about what you felt and saw within the music presented here!
What about those background keyboard-synthesizers hoverings over head! What if anything do that symbolize? Who is really Marching On and when? Do you think Exposure is about camera film? How about the cover art? The questions go on and on.
On SOLITARY EXPOSURES,I play all the instruments used to make this recording. These include an Epiphone Doubleneck Electric, Ovation Doubleneck Acoustic-Electric, Yamaha DX7 Keyboard-Synthesiser, Carlo Robelli Electric twelve string bass, Carlo Robelli six string electric Bass and I guess you could say also a Boss Dr. Rhythm Drum Machine.
**Track 11 is interesting and has some vocals added to the music. This track was designed for a specific purpose; that being as a response to my critics who have doubted the power of THE EXPLORATION PROJECT. But I guess those people will have to buy my cd to hear what I have said!
