Piano and subtly arranged Oriental sounds interweave to form a dynamic tapestry of calming and relaxing music perfect for massage, yoga, Tai Chi, opening the chakras and relaxation. This music was inspired by my travels along the ancient Silk Road. By the journey's end you should feel a spiritual uplifting & cathartic release as well as emotional cleansing. Melodic piano passages are intertwined with flute, strings, sitar and temple gongs and after a listen, you will be left in a state of total relaxation!

"I have traveled along various parts of the Silk Road in China several times," says Marilynn, "and I'm continually fascinated by Chinese culture and philosophy. The sense of ancient history and of being close to the source are very profound for me in China and I wanted to convey that sense of timelessness in this music. The piano is my main instrument and as I also play jazz, I improvise for long periods on the piano and then go back and add other instruments and sound effects. I work in my own 48 track studio so I can spend as much time as I need to get everything exactly the way I want it. This music is very emotional so be prepared to FEEL feelings while you're listening to it."
